Dryden firefighters respond to shed fire in trailer park

DRYDEN, N.Y. — Fire investigators are looking into what a cause a storage shed fire to go up in flames Saturday afternoon.

At around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Dryden firefighters responded to a reported trailer fire at Little Creek Mobile Home Park.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a storage shed fire that was fully involved, with nearby homes and objects exposed.

Firefighters protected the adjoining property and had the fire extinguished in 20 minutes.

Mutual aid assistance was provided by the McLean and Freeville fire departments.

There were no reported injuries, though some nearby properties suffered minor heat damage. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
