CORTLAND, N.Y. — A cold front will spread rain showers across central New York Sunday night, bringing cool weather through the middle of the week.
Light rain showers will have a cooling effect, with temperatures falling into the upper 40s by Monday morning.

Scattered showers will continue on Monday, with temperatures hovering the lower 60s by the afternoon. Another cold front will bring a few showers Monday night.
Temperatures will remain cool on Tuesday, with highs in the lower to middle 60s.
Wednesday will be drier, though showers are possible. Temperatures will stay in the mid 60s range.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs around 70. A cold front will drop through central New York Thursday evening into Friday morning, and scattered showers are expected to linger through Friday morning.
Temperatures on Friday night will hover in the lower 50s. Saturday and Sunday will see high temperatures in the mid 70s.
