Lansing woman reported missing by Tompkins County Sheriff's Office

The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office is asking for public assistance in a search for a missing vulnerable adult.

Sophy Sok, 21, of Lansing, was last seen at her home on North Triphammer Road in Lansing at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 17.

She is 5 feet tall and weighs about 95 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and is of Asian descent.

Authorites say Sok is developmentally disabled and may be disoriented and confused.

She does not speak English and is believed to be on foot, the sheriff's office said. Police do not know what kind of clothing Sok was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
