Where to see fireworks in Cortland County

CORTLAND, N.Y. — The 4th of July holiday is right around the corner, and Cortland residents seeking a fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day have a few options this year.

The Cortland County Chamber of Commerce will be holding a fireworks display in Dwyer Memorial Park in Preble on Tuesday, July 3, from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.

The event will kick off with a performance from the Old Timers Band at the pavilion.

Food will be provided by Hog Wild Catering barbecue, Skippy's ice cream, and Lulu's kettle corn.

The fireworks show will commence at 10 p.m. There is a $5 fee for parking.

There will also be a fireworks display on the Homer Village Green at 10 am. Wednesday as part of a reading of the Declaration of Independence.
