CORTLAND, N.Y. — Ivanka Trump, the daughter of President Donald Trump, will visit Cortland County on Monday as part of a roundtable discussion at Suit-Kote Corporation in Preble.

Trump, a top White House adviser, will be traveling with U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney, who represents New York's 23rd congressional district, which includes Cortland County.

Trump will visit Suit-Kote Corporation at 9 a.m. Monday, where she will host a discussion centering around the GOP tax reform bill and the business climate in New York State, according to Connie White, chair of the Cortland County Republican Committee. Trump will also tour the facility and view a paving demonstration by Suit-Kote employees.

"She is going to learn about Suit-Kote's business, their history, and where they are at today," White said in a phone interview. "The way we do business in this country has changed. We're getting better at what we do."

"Cortland County is excited and thrilled to have President Trump's daughter here on Monday," the Cortland County Republican Committee announced in a Facebook post. "The Representative's staff has been very busy making arrangements for the historic meeting!"

Monday morning's event is by invitation only.

At 12 p.m. Monday, Trump will visit the P-Tech school at the Institute of Technology in Syracuse. She will be joined by U.S. Rep. John Katko.
