Cortland man arrested after traffic stop

Name: Shane P. Amo

Location: Route 11, Town of Cortlandville

Summary: On Sat., Aug. 11, at around 2:10 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle on Route 11 in the town of Cortlandville for having unauthorized stickers and an obstructed view.

The driver was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was also found to be in possession of metal knuckles and marijuana.  He was arrested, processed and released on appearance tickets.

Boothe

Police seize 180 grams of pot from vehicle

Name: Logan W. Boothe

Location: State Route 221, town of Harford

Summary: A trooper on patrol observed a vehicle speeding on State Route 221 in Harford. The vehicle was stopped with four vehicle occupants. Boothe, who was a passenger, was found to be in possession of approximately 182 grams of marijuana, police said. He was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of criminal possession of marihuana and released on appearance tickets.

Rose

Three vandalized vehicle with ketchup, police say

Name: Mariah L. Rose; two juveniles

Location: Clarion Hotel, Lansing, N.Y.

Summary: Two juveniles and a 20-year-old female were arrested and charged with the felony of third-degree criminal mischief for an incident that occurred at the Clarion Hotel in the village of Lansing July 18. The trio is accused of pouring ketchup on a vehicle in the parking lot of the hotel. The ketchup caused an estimated $1,000 worth of permanent damage to the vehicle, police said.
