CORTLAND, N.Y. — A 71-year-old Cincinnatus man faces allegations of sexual abuse following an investigation by the Cortland County Sheriff's Office.
Leslie W. Menshouse was arrested last week and charged with a felony of first-degree sexual abuse and misdemeanors of third-degree sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
On August 7, 2018, officers investigated a domestic incident that was reported at the Cortland County Sheriff's Office, though the incident occurred prior to that date.
Investigators learned that Menshouse had inappropriate physical contact with two different victims who were known to him, according to Lt. Todd Caufield with the sheriff's office.
Menshouse was arrested at his residence on August 24. He was released following his arraignment in Solon Town Court.
