CORTLAND, N.Y. — A Cortland couple has been charged with selling drugs following a 1-month narcotics investigation by the Cortland County Sheriff's Office.
Jeffrey R. Fowler, 41, and Angela M. Fowler, 42, were arrested at their residence on North Main Street on Aug. 31. They were both arrested on sealed indictments issued by Cortland County Court, according to Lt. Todd Caufield with the sheriff's office.
They were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth-degree, a class C felony. Arraignment took place in Cortland County Court on Sep. 4.
Jeffrey Fowler was taken to Cortland County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. Angela Fowler was jailed on $5,000 cash bail.
The sheriff's office was assisted by the Cortland County Drug Task Force.
