Three arrested in marijuana bust in McGraw

CORTLAND, N.Y. — Three people were arrested on felony charges Tuesday following an investigation into marijuana possession at a home in McGraw.

The arrest came following a narcotics search warrant at the residence at 14 Clinton Street in the village of McGraw that was the result of an ongoing drug investigation, according to Lt. Chad Burhans with the sheriff's office.

Officers located more than three pounds of marijuana inside the residence. Three men were charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the second degree, a class D felony, and conspiracy in the fifth degree, a class A misdemeanor: Graby L. Mabry III, 25, of Clinton Street, McGraw, N.Y.; Trevor W. Barton, 26, of Adairesvillle, Georgia; and Brian S. Sanders, 25, of Mountain View Drive, Preble, N.Y.

They were arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court with future court dates pending.

The sheriff's office was assisted by the New York State Police, City of Cortland Police Department, and the Village of Homer Police Department.
