HOMER, N.Y. — The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Rebels' defense proved to be too much for the Trojans, as APW defeated Homer by a score of 61-46.

Andrew Hage led the Trojans in scoring with 15 points, while Kobe Harrington lit up the scoreboard for the Rebels, scoring 27 points on 10 made field goals, including 6 3 pointers.

"Defensively we had one job and one player to stop, but we had too many mental areas on that end that hurt us," Homer head coach Sean Malone said.

"They had way too many second chance points because they were quicker to the ball on most rebounds," Malone added.

Prior to the game, seven Homer seniors were recognized: Nick Barns, Andrew Hage, Colin McNeil, Nick Parker, Malik Redding, Holiday Sanders, and Mike Strangeway. Homer cheerleaders Genesis Blaisdell, Allison Poppe-Rosen, Jade Hinshaw, and MaryZsaGina Harris were also recognized.

Homer will finish up the season Thursday night as they travel to Westhill to take on the Warriors.
