Cortland County received funding for a Microenterprise Program to assist small businesses with five or fewer employees, including the owner. The owner, or new hire(s), must have low-to-moderate incomes. Eligible applicants may receive a grant up to $35,000. Funds may be used for equipment, inventory, working capital and other uses. Funding is competitive. New businesses are prioritized.
