Two Cortland County high school basketball squads will look to extend their playoff success in two games today.
The McGraw Golden Eagles (17-4) will look to defeat the DeRuyter (18-3) in the Section III Class D Semifinals. Tipoff is at 11 a.m. today at SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College. The Cortland Voice will be live-streaming this game via our Facebook page. The winner will advance to the championship game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse on March 3.
This is familiar territory for the Eagles, who narrowly defeated the Madison Blue Devils in last year's championship game at the Dome.
Meanwhile, the #3 ranked Marathon Olympians (10-8) take on #11 Richfield Springs (10-11) at Marathon High School at 6 p.m. tonight in the Section IV Class D Quarterfinals.
