Two injured in accident on Cortland's Main Street

CORTLAND, N.Y. — Two people were taken to Cortland Regional Medical Center Friday morning following a crash on Main Street.

At around 9 a.m., the Cortland Fire Department was called to a two-car crash at the intersection of Main Street and Randall Street.

The driver of a Kia Rio collided with a Chevy Trax while one of the vehicles was attempting to make a turn, according to scanner reports.

Main Street was closed to vehicle traffic for about an hour between Argyle Place and Huntington Street as crews worked to clear the crash scene.

Two people involved in the crash were taken by TLC Ambulance to Cortland Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The Cortland Police Department and TLC Ambulance assisted the fire department at the scene.
