Cortland Weather Outlook: April Showers Extend to May

It seems only fitting that Central New York is about a month behind when it comes to the old saying: April showers bring May flowers.

Rain is in the forecast every day this week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton; however, temperatures will reach near 70 degrees on Friday.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Thursday: Rain. Highs near 61.

Thursday Night: Rain. Low around 52.

Friday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 68.

Friday Night: A chance of showers before 2 a.m.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57.
