After an entire week of scattered rain showers, forecasters anticipate seasonal spring weather in central New York throughout the day.

There will be sunny skies hitting the streets of Cortland, along with northwest winds from 5-10 miles per hour. Temperatures will reach as high as the upper 60s, and will then drop to the mid 40s in the evening.

Today will be your best chance to go outside and enjoy the weather, as there will be a 70 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms for the rest of the weekend.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, there will be a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Temperatures will reach the low 70s and drop to the low 50s coming into the evening.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a 60 percent chance of showers, that could form into thunderstorms. Temperatures will be as high as the upper 60s and as low as the mid 40s.

Monday: Mostly sunny during the day and cloudy going into the evening, with temperatures only reaching the upper 50s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies and spring like weather, with temperatures going as high as the mid 60s.

Wednesday: It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures reaching the low 70s, along with only a 30 percent chance of scattered showers during the day.

Thursday: Partly sunny day with a 50 percent chance of rain. Temperatures will then rise to the low 70s throughout the day.
