Cortland Weather Outlook | Monday, June 10

After a sunny and warm weekend, showers will take over in Cortland once again throughout the day and the beginning of this week.

Skies will be mostly cloudy this morning. There will be a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Rain showers are likely tonight, along with south winds from a range of 7-11 miles per hour.

Temperatures will reach a high near 68 degrees during the day and a low around 53 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of the week's weather forecast from the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Tuesday: There will be gradual heavy showers in the morning. Mainly before 7 am, with there only being a 30 percent chance of rain throughout the day. There will however be strong northwest winds of up to 18 miles per hour and gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. Temperatures will then reach a high near 65 degrees and a low around 45 degrees.

Wednesday: It will pe a sunny day, with warm temperatures reaching a high near 73 degrees. It will then start to get cloudy going into the evening, as there will be a 50 percent chance of showers at night. Temperatures will also reach a low in the low 50s at night.

Thursday: It will be a cloudy day, with there being a 70 percent chance of rain, mainly after 8 a.m. Temperatures will reach as high as the mid 60s. during the day and a low near the high 40s at night.

Friday: Chances of showers will start lowering to a 30 percent. With there being partly sunny throughout the day and temperatures reaching a high near 64 degrees. It will get cloudy at night with low temperatures around 50 degrees.

Saturday: It will start to get sunny in the morning and throughout the day. As temperatures will once again start rising to the low 70s. Temperatures will then drop going into the evening to a as low as 54 degrees.
