Cortland Weather Outlook: Saturday June 15th

With there being an increasing amount of clouds coming in, forecasters are predicting a rainy weekend, along with cool temperatures.

There will be a 30 percent chance of scattered rain showers, mainly after 4pm, accompanied with southwest winds of up to 15 miles per hour.

Temperatures will reach a high near 73 degrees during the day and drop to a low around 56 degrees at night.

Going into the evening, chances of showers will increase to around 80 percent throughout the night, following into Sunday morning.

Here is look at the next few days’ weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Sunday: Cloudy, with likable rain showers, as there will be a 70 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high around 71 degrees and a low around 57 degrees.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 70 percent chance of thunderstorms and heavy showers. Rain showers will calm down going into the evening, with there only being a 40 percent chance of precipitation at night. Temperatures will reach a high near 74 degrees during the day and a low around 56 at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with chances of showers decreasing to around 30 percent. Temperatures will approach a high of 74 degrees in the afternoon and will then decrease to around 54 degrees, going into the evening.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around the mid 70s. There will be a 40 percent chance of precipitation. Mainly before evening hours. It will then start to get cloudy at night, with temperatures lowering to around 54 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73 degrees. Chances of precipitation will be at around 50 percent both during the day and night. Temperatures will lower down to around the mid 50s at night.

Friday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 71 degrees. There will also be a small 30 percent chance of scattered showers throughout the day.
