Cortland Weather Outlook | Saturday, June 22

After a long week of scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, forecasters are predicting a mostly clear and sunny weekend, with temperatures reaching to a high near 70 degrees.

There will be refreshing northwest winds of up to 14 miles per hour as we enter the afternoon hours. Skies will keep being clear at night, but temperatures will decrease to a low around 50 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather forecast for the rest of this weekend and the start of next week, according to the National Weather Service:

Sunday: It will be sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 74 degrees during the day. It will however start getting cloudy, as we enter evening hours. With temperatures dropping to a near 55 degrees.

Monday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 80 degrees throughout the day. There will however be a small chance of rain, with there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will then drop to about 62 degrees at night along with chances of precipitation, increasing to 60 percent.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will then reach a high of around 78 degrees by early afternoon hours and a low near 59 degrees going into the evening.

WednesdayMostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near the high 70s. It will start getting cloudy at night however, with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation along with temperatures dropping to about 58 degrees.
