The end of this weekend will end on a nice note, as forecasters predict clear and sunny skies along with temperatures reaching a high in the upper 70s.

It will be sunny throughout the whole day, where temperatures will reach a high near 77 degrees in the afternoon. There will be refreshing northwest winds hitting Cortland of up to nine miles per hour.

Then going into the evening, temperatures will drop to about 53 degrees, along with light and variable winds.

Here is a look at next week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Monday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 78 degrees during the day. It will then start to get cloudy, as we enter evening hours. With there being a 60 percent chance of precipitation and temperatures dropping to a near 64 degrees at night.

Tuesday: It will be mostly cloudy, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will be reaching a high near 77 degrees and a low around 59 degrees.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with there still being a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day. It will then start to get cloudy going into the evening, with chances of precipitation increasing to about 50 percent. Temperatures will reach high near 80 degrees during the day and a low around 59 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 80 degrees throughout the day. There will still be a slight 30 percent chance of showers, during both day and night. Temperatures will decrease to around 59 degrees, as we enter evening hours.

Friday: Mostly sunny with temperatures reaching a high in the low 80s during the day. It will then start to get cloudy as we enter late afternoon hours, with there being a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will then drop to a near 58 degrees during the night.
