For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon.

Skies will start to clear up in the afternoon, with temperatures reaching into the upper 70s.

It will start to get cloudy late in the evening along with west winds of up to 10 miles per hour. Temperatures will then drop to around 59 degrees.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 81 degrees throughout the day. There will then be a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms as we enter afternoon hours. Temperatures will then reach a low around 62 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with clear skies all day long. Temperatures will reach a high around 80 degrees during the day and a low near 60 degrees at night.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing up to around 82 degrees during the day. It will then start to get cloudy as we enter evening hours, with there being a40 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will also drop to a near 61 degrees at night.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 78 degrees throughout the day. There will also be a 50 percent chance of showers that will last all day. Temperatures will then drop to about 58 degrees late in the evening.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with there still being a small 30 percent chance of precipitation during the day. Temperatures will not be as high as the other days of the week, with it only reaching a high around 72 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then drop to about 55 degrees at night.
