Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, June 27

For today's forecast, forecasters are predicting summer like weather, with high temperatures and calm winds of up to nine miles per hour.

It will be mostly sunny throughout the day, with temperatures reaching a high near 81 degrees.

Skies will keep themselves clear as we enter evening hours.

However, temperatures will be dropping to around 59 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Friday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 82 degrees. There will however be a 40 percent chance of showers during the day. After 2 p.m. however, chances of showers will increase to about 60 percent. Temperatures will then drop to around 64 degrees late in the evening.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with there still being a 50 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high around 78 degrees during the day and decrease to a near 60 degrees at night.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the morning, that will last until mid afternoon hours. Temperatures will reach a high near 73 degrees during the day and then drop to about 55 degrees late in the evening.

Monday: Mostly sunny throughout the day, with temperatures reaching a high near 76 degrees. It will then however get partly cloudy at night, with temperatures dropping to around 57 degrees.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms all day long. Temperatures will reach a high near 78 degrees during the day and drop to about 59 degrees at night.
