Early Independence Day: Cortland County Fireworks Spectacular

 

Celebrate Independence Day a day early, at the annual Cortland County Fireworks Spectacular in Dwyer Memorial Park, Little York on July 3rd.

The fireworks display will start at dusk on Wednesday.

Fireworks will be brought by the Young Explosives Corporations; and they will be bigger and longer than any other year.

The event however, will begin at 1 p.m. With there being live music all afternoon, from 1 p.m. to 8p.m.

Here is the schedule stating who is performing at each hour of the day:

1-2 pm: Stiv Morgan
2:15-3:30 pm: Steve Daniels Trio
3:45-4:45 pm: The Heaters
5-6:30 pm: Tribal Revival Band
6:30-8 pm: Old Timers Band

Local food vendors will also be at the event. So make sure you come with an appetite.

These local food vendors include; The Cortland Crush Dog House, Alexander's Food Truck, Lulu's Kettle Corn and many more.

The Cortland Repertory Theater Guild will even be selling ice cream and other desserts to the public.

There will be a five dollar charge per vehicle entering the park on the 3rd.

If it gets rained out however, the show will take place on July 5th instead.

The Cortland County Fireworks Spectacular is hosted by the Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Cortland County.
