NEEMFest 2019 (NorthEast Electro-Music Festival) will be held on September 6, 7 and 8, 2019 at the Center for the Arts of Homer, in Homer, New York.
NEEMFest 2019 continues the Electro-Music annual festival tradition, now in its 15th year. The festival features musicians and video artists who use electronic musical instruments along with hardware and software tools to create a performance-centric event. Along with three full days of electronic music concerts there will be workshops, seminars, demonstrations and the ever-popular “Synthesizer Petting Zoo,” an opportunity for people of all ages to have a hands-on experience with synthesizers, drum machines and other types of electronic music gear.
“This is such a wonderful event. The community welcomes all levels of artists from beginners to decades-long veterans; I find the whole thing inspiring,” says media producer Rebekkah Hilgraves, who will be broadcasting the entire event via RadioSpiral.net for the second year. Participant Gianni Intili shares this: “Three days of electronic music, compelling seminars and a friendly atmosphere — I could not ask for anything more.” NEEMFest 2019 promises to introduce the audience to original musical soundscapes and visual treats in a lively and all-inclusive environment.
The Center for the Arts of Homer is a large venue that provides two performance spaces as well as gallery spaces for guest speakers and workshops. Events are happening all day long, all three days.
