Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, July 14

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a mostly sunny day, along with clear skies.

There will however, be northwest winds of up to 13 miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will reach a high near 78 degrees during the day and drop to a low around 54 degrees at night.

Here is a look at next week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Monday: Sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 80 degrees during the day. It will start to get cloudy late in the afternoon, with there being a low 30 percent chance of precipitation at night. Mainly after 11 p.m. Temperatures will also decrease to around 61 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny at the beginning of the day, with temperatures reaching a high of around 84 degrees. It will then start to get mostly cloudy early in the afternoon, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Temperatures will also drop to a low near 68 degrees at night.

Wednesday: It will be mostly cloudy, with there being a 50 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high near 85 degrees during the day and decrease to around 67 degrees at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 87 degrees during the day. It will then start to get cloudy in the evening, with there being a 50 percent chance of precipitation at night. Also temperatures will drop to about 67 degrees at night.

Friday: Partly cloudy, with there being a 40 percent chance of scattered rain showers throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 86 degrees and drop to around 66 degrees at night.
