Cortland Weather Outlook: Tuesday, July 16

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly cloudy day, along with light rain showers in the afternoon, mainly after 3 p.m.

The day will start off with partly sunny skies in the morning, with temperatures reaching a high near 85 degrees by by noon.

With clouds coming early in the afternoon, there will then be a 30 percent chance of precipitation, that will last for the rest of the day.

Temperatures will then decrease to a low around 67 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Cloudy, with there being an 80 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the whole day. Temperatures will then reach a high near 79 degrees during the day and drop to around 67 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Chances of precipitation will then drop to about 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will increase to a high around 85 degrees throughout the day and decrease to about 68 degrees late in the evening.

Friday: Partly sunny, with temperatures skyrocketing to around 90 degrees during the day. However, there will be a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation during afternoon hours. It will then start to get partly cloudy at night, with temperatures decreasing to a near 69 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing to about 88 degrees throughout the day. It will then start to get cloudy at night, with temperatures decreasing to a near 67 degrees.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 86 degrees during the day. They will then drop to around 64 degrees at night.
