Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, July 18

 

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a cloudy day, with there being a slight chance of scattered rain showers late in the afternoon.

The day will start out with there being a patchy fog until around 7 a.m.

There will also be northeast winds of up to 5 miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will then reach a high near 83 degrees during the day and drop to around 67 degrees at night.

Scattered rain showers will most likely start in the afternoon, mainly after 2 p.m. With there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Friday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high near 90 degrees throughout the day. However, there will still be a small 30 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will then decrease to around 68 degrees at night.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 94 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then drop at night to around 70 degrees, with there also being a 30 percent chance of showers.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 50 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms through the day. Temperatures will then reach a high near 87 degrees during afternoon hours. Chances of precipitation will then decrease to around 40 percent at night, along with temperatures also decreasing to a near 65 degrees.

Monday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 81 degrees throughout the day. It will then start to get cloudy late in the afternoon, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening. Temperatures will then decrease to around 59 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high of about 75 degrees during the day. They will then drop to a low near 54 degrees late in the evening.
