Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, July 21

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a partly sunny day, with temperatures reaching a high near 82 degrees.

There will however be a minimal 30 percent chance of showers early on the day. Mainly between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

There will also be strong west winds of up to 13 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will finally drop late in the evening to around 63 degrees.

Here is a look at the following week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Monday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 50 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 72 degrees during the day and drop to around 56 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 74 degrees throughout the day. Temperatures will then drop around 52 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Sunny along with clear skies. Temperatures will increase to a high around 73 degrees during the day. They will then drop to around 56 degrees late in the evening.

Thursday: Sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 79 degrees throughout the day. It will then start to get cloudy at night with temperatures dropping to a near 56 degrees late in the evening.

Friday: It will be a sunny day along with clear skies. Temperatures increasing to a high around 82 degrees during the day. It will then start to get cloudy in the evening, with there being a slight 20 percent chance of showers at night. Temperatures will also decrease to around 58 degrees at night.
