Cortland Weather Outlook: Monday, July 22

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a cloudy day, with there being a 70 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day.

Thunderstorms are most likely to begin early in the afternoon.

Chances of precipitation will then decrease to around 40 percent in the evening.

Compared to this past weekend, temperatures will drop drastically. With it only reaching a high around 73 degrees during the day.

Temperatures will then drop late in the evening to a near 54 degrees.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high near 74 degrees during the day. There will also be a minimal 20 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will finally decrease to around 52 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high around 76 degrees throughout the day. Skies will then keep themselves clear at night, with temperatures dropping to a near 54 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly sunny day with clear skies, where temperatures will increase to a near 80 degrees during the day. It will then start to get cloudy late in the evening, as temperatures will start to decrease to around 56 degrees at night.

Friday: Sunny, with temperatures increasing to a near 82 degrees throughout the day. Skies will then keep themselves clear late in the afternoon. As temperatures will slowly start to decrease to around 59 degrees at night.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 85 degrees during the day. Temperatures will later on decrease to around 62 degrees at night.
