Cortland Weather outlook: Wednesday, July 24

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a mostly sunny day, with temperatures increasing to a near 75 degrees during the day.

There will be refreshing calm northwest winds between 5 and 9 miles per hour in the afternoon.

There will however, be a small 30 percent chance of isolated showers throughout the day.

Temperatures will then drop late in the evening to around 51 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 78 degrees during the day. There will be a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will then decrease to around 57 degrees.

Friday: Sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high around 82 degrees during the day. Skies will then keep themselves clear late in the evening, and temperatures will drop to a low of about 61 degrees at night.

Saturday: Sunny along with clear skies. Temperatures will reach a high near 84 degrees during the day. It will then start to get partly cloudy at night, with temperatures decreasing to a near 63 degrees.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, throughout the day, with temperatures increasing and reaching a high around 85 degrees during the day. It will however, start to get cloudy early in the afternoon, with there being a 30 percent chance of light showers and possible thunderstorms. Temperatures will then drop to around 65 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly sunny during the day, with temperatures increasing to a near 85 degrees. It will then start to get mostly cloudy late in the afternoon, with there being a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation. At night, temperatures will start to decrease, reaching a low near 65 degrees.
