The 50-Mile-Long Route 90 Garage Sale Returns to Cortland County this Weekend

Every year, during the last weekend of July, the 50 plus mile stretch of route 90 transforms into one huge garage sale.

This huge garage sale attracts people from all over New York State and outside of it. With People along with their family and friends, being able to take advantage of the low prices this garage sale has to offer.

Sales start at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. on both Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.

The sale stretches all the way from the north area of Montezuma to the souther end of the village of Homer in Cortland County.

There are usually hundreds of families that set up their own stand at this garage sale.

The sale does not only take place at separate homes, but at businesses and other organizations along the road as well.

A few families however, set up on Friday night, in order to get ahead of people on Saturday morning, when the sales actually start. So if you are planning on purchasing items, you can start checking them out ahead of time.

"Along the way you will find everything imaginable, from antique andirons to zebra prints and loads of unexpected delights," according to the route 90 garage sale brochure website.
