Photo Gallery: JTM Ruck Club carries over 200 gallons of donated canned goods

For over an expand of six weeks, the JTM Ruck Club organized a canned food drive for which all donations were donated toward Catholic Charities of Cortland County.

This past Saturday July 27, the club had their final ruck pick up event, where they stopped at 13 different drop off locations in the city of Cortland to collect and carry all donations towards their destination.

Drop off locations included, Hartleys Auto and RV, Bru64, Brix Pubaria, Cortland beer company, Spiedini's pizza and many more.

Overall, the Ruck Club carried over 200 gallons of canned foods, which equals to around more than 1,600 pounds to the Catholic Charities of Cortland in the last six weeks.

"It was incredible to see everyone come together and contribute or participate in such a giving way to our community," said JTM Ruck Club administrator, Dustin Sherman. "it was nice to see everyone work together and see all the positivity around Cortland."
