Cortland Weather Outlook: Saturday, August 3

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a mostly sunny day, but with a slight 20 percent chance of showers early in the morning.

There will be calm west winds of up to six miles per hour and temperatures will reach a high of around 81 degrees during the day.

It will then begin to slowly get cloudy in the evening, as temperatures will drop to a near 59 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Sunday: There will be a slight chance of showers in the morning. With there being a 20 percent chance of precipitation before 11 a.m. After that It will be mostly sunny throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high near 77 degrees and decrease to around 51 degrees at night.

Monday: It will be a mostly sunny day along with clear skies. Temperatures will reach a high of about 81 degrees during the day. Skies will keep themselves clear at night with temperatures decreasing to around 59 degrees.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, with there being a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Chances of precipitation will then increase in the evening to around 50 percent. Temperatures will reach a high near 83 degrees during the day and drop to around 63 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 50 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to around 79 degrees during the day and drop to a near 60 degrees at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 77 degrees during the day. However, there will be a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will then decrease to a near 58 degrees at night.
