Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, August 4

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly sunny day, with temperatures reaching a high of around 76 degrees.

It will then gradually begin to become more sunny as the day goes on.

There will be north winds of up to nine miles per hour during the day with there also being a minimal 20 percent chance of precipitation.

Temperatures will then decrease at night to a near 49 degrees.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing and reaching a high of around 80 degrees throughout the day. It will then gradually begin to get partly cloudy in the evening with there also being light variable winds. Temperatures will finally drop at night to a near 59 degrees to end the day.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy, with there being a 60 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms during the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 82 degrees and drop to around 63 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Chances of precipitation will then drop to around 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will increase to a high of a near 78 degrees in the afternoon and drop to about 59 degrees at night.

Thursday: It will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will increase to around 80 degrees and decrease to a near 58 degrees at night.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 76 degrees during the day. It will gradually start becoming cloudy in the afternoon, as there will be a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening. Temperatures will then decrease to a near 55 degrees at night.
