Cortland Weather Outlook: Tuesday, August 6

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly sunny day with a 60 percent chance of scattered showers and possible thunderstorms late in the afternoon.

The day will start off being partly sunny along with temperatures increasing to a high near 83 degrees.

It will then slowly begin to get cloudy in the afternoon, with there being chances of precipitation. Mainly after 3 p.m.

The day will end with temperatures dropping to around 63 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, with there being a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day. Mainly after 3 p.m. Temperatures will increase to a high of a near 78 degrees in the afternoon and drop to about 61 degrees at night.

Thursday: It will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, with there being a 50 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will increase to around 80 degrees and decrease to a near 57 degrees at night.

Friday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 73 degrees during the day. However, it will gradually start becoming cloudy in the afternoon. Temperatures will then decrease to a near 53 degrees at night.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with temperatures increasing to around 72 degrees throughout the day. It will slowly begin to get cloudy late in the evening, with temperatures dropping to a near 52 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high of around 75 degrees throughout the day. It will then become cloudy at night, with temperatures decreasing to a near 56 degrees.
