Hundreds of people gathered this afternoon on the streets of Van Hoesen, Chestnut, Harrison, Joy and Hamlin in Cortland for the 4th annual Cortland Porchfest.
The event is organized by several neighbors and musicians along with the help from the Cortland Youth Bureau.
The festival was free to the public. Free-will donations for the Cortland Youth Bureau however, were also welcomed during the event.
Over 30 bands performed at the event.
Throughout the festival, there were many activity booths filled with fun games and crafts for kids of all ages; and in case you were hungry, there were also food vendors such as the M&D Deli Central and many more.
“It is a really special day for the neighborhood,” said Molly Reagan, the event coordinator. “It celebrates all that is wonderful about our community.”
