Cortland Weather Outlook: Tuesday, August 27

For today’s weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a mostly cloudy day with there however, being a slight 20 percent chance of showers throughout the day.

There will be south winds of up to 11 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will increase to a high near 70 degrees during the day and drop to around 61 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week’s weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high of around 77 degrees in the afternoon. Temperatures will then drop to a near 58 degrees at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 76 degrees during the day. It will then begin to become partly cloudy in the evening while temperatures decrease to around 56 degrees at night

Friday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to a near 77 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to get cloudy late in the afternoon with there being a slight 30 percent chance of showers.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures increasing to a high near 69 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then decrease to around 48 degrees at night.
