Cortland Weather Outlook: Saturday, August 31

For today's weather forecast, it will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 70 degrees during the day.

There will be calm northwest winds of up to seven miles per hour in the morning.

It will then begin to get partly cloudy late in the afternoon with temperatures dropping to around 48 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Chances of showers will then decrease to around 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will increase to a high near 69 degrees during the day and drop to around 54 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly sunny, with there however still being a slight 30 percent chance of showers during the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 73 degrees in the afternoon and decrease to around 54 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with temperatures reaching a high of around 78 degrees during the day. It will then begin to get partly cloudy in the evening with there being a 30 percent chance of precipitation. Temperatures will finally decrease to a near 60 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Partly sunny during the day with temperatures increasing to a high of around 73 degrees. It will then get cloudy late in the afternoon with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening. Temperatures will then drop to a near 45 degrees at night.
