Cortland Weather Outlook: Monday, September 16

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a mostly cloudy day with temperatures increasing to a high of around 68 degrees in the afternoon.

There will also be a 40 percent chance of scattered rain showers early on the day that will most likely stop before 2 p.m.

Skies will then begin to clear up in the evening with there being northeast winds of up to 6 miles per hour.

Temperatures will finally drop to a near 46 degrees at night to end the day.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Tuesday: Sunny with temperatures reaching a high near 74 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then drop to a around 54 degrees at night.

Wednesday: It will be mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high of around 72 degrees throughout the day. Skies will then keep themselves clear at night along with temperatures beginning to decrease to a near 52 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high of around 74 degrees during the day. It will then begin to become partly cloudy late in the evening with temperatures dropping to about 53 degrees at night.

Friday: It will be a sunny day with temperatures reaching the high 70s in the afternoon. Temperatures will then decrease to a near 56 degrees in the evening along with clouds increasing at night.
