Item #8 – Consideration of a Resolution to lift the hiring freeze to fill an anticipated vacancy in the Fire Department. (DC Friedman)

Item #9 – Consideration of a Resolution to commence with the hiring process to fill two anticipated firefighter position vacancies subsequent to the promotional process specific to Shift Captain and Captain of Training (MTO). (DC Friedman)

Item #10 – Consideration of accepting a purchase offer from RPM Police/Emergency Equipment to purchase property already declared surplus by the Common Council to purchase old, outdated equipment for $915.00, which if accepted and appropriated, would be placed in the Cortland City Police Budget Line A3120.206.00 to go toward the purchase of 2020 Police Vehicles (DC Sandy). 

Item #11 – Consideration of utilizing $90,000.00 from the City Equipment Reserve Fund for the purchase of two 2020 Tahoe’s for the Cortland City Police, so they may be ordered prior to the September deadline, and replacing what funds may be available from the 2020 Police budget A3120.206 in January 2020, once the vehicles are up fitted for use.
