Cortland Weather Outlook: Tuesday, September 24

For today's weather forecast, it will be partly cloudy throughout the day with there being a 40 percent chance of scattered showers during morning hours.

Showers are most likely to last until around 2 p.m.

There will also be west winds of up to 13 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will increase to a high near 62 degrees during the day and begin to drop to around 45 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Wednesday: Partly sunny throughout the day along with temperatures hitting a high of around 70 degrees. It will then slowly begin to become cloudy in the evening. Finally, temperatures will drop to a near 51 degrees at late at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny with there being a 30 percent chance of rain throughout the day. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening with chances of precipitation increasing to about 40 percent. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 71 degrees during the day and drop to a near 47 degrees at night.

Friday: Sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 70 degrees throughout the day. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening with temperatures decreasing to a near 52 degrees at night.

Saturday: Partly sunny with temperatures reaching a high of a near 75 degrees during the day. It will then begin to get cloudy in the middle of the afternoon with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening. Temperatures will then drop to around 53 degrees at night.
