Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, September 29

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high of around 66 degrees during the day.

They day will however begin with it being partly cloudy and minimal chances of showers early in the morning.

There will also be north winds of up to six miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will then begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low near 45 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the beginning of next week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Monday: Partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 72 degrees during the day. However, there will still be a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will then drop to around 54 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures reaching a high of around 78 degrees in the afternoon. Clouds will then begin to increase late in the afternoon with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening. Temperatures will finally drop to a near 58 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 77 degrees during the day and drop to around 51 degrees at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 60 degrees throughout the day. It will however begin to get cloudy in the middle of the day with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will finally decrease at night to around 42 degrees.
