Cortland Weather Outlook: Monday, September 30

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly cloudy day with there being a 40 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day.

There will also be winds of up to nine miles per hour during the day.

Temperatures will increase to a high of around 65 degrees in the afternoon and drop to a near 57 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures reaching a high of around 78 degrees in the afternoon. Clouds will then begin to increase late in the afternoon with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the evening. Temperatures will finally drop to a near 58 degrees at night.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 77 degrees during the day and drop to around 51 degrees at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 60 degrees throughout the day. It will however begin to get cloudy in the middle of the day with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will finally decrease at night to around 42 degrees.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 54 degrees during the day and drop to a near 35 degrees at night.
