Cortland Weather Outlook: Tuesday, October 1

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a partly cloudy day with temperatures increasing to a high of around 79 degrees in the afternoon.

There will however, be a slight 20 percent chance of scattered showers along with winds of up to 11 miles per hour throughout the day.

Chances of precipitation will then increase to around 60 percent late in the evening.

Temperatures will finally drop to a near 64 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high near 77 degrees during the day and drop to around 51 degrees at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 60 degrees throughout the day. It will however begin to get cloudy in the middle of the day with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will finally decrease at night to around 42 degrees.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 54 degrees during the day and drop to a near 35 degrees at night.

Saturday: It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures only increasing to a high of around 56 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, as temperatures start to decrease to a near 38 degrees at night.
