Cortland Weather Outlook: Wednesday, October 2

For today's weather forecast, it will be a cloudy day with there being a 50 percent chance of scattered rain showers throughout the day.

There will also be north winds ranging from five to seven miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will increase to a high near 68 degrees during the day and will slowly drop in the evening until reaching a low of around 43 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Thursday: Partly sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 60 degrees throughout the day. It will however begin to get cloudy in the middle of the day with there being a 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will finally decrease at night to around 42 degrees.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 54 degrees during the day and drop to a near 35 degrees at night.

Saturday: It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures only increasing to a high of around 56 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, as temperatures start to decrease to a near 38 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation during the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 59 degrees in the afternoon and will begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low near 44 degrees at night.
