Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, October 4

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly cloudy day with there being a 40 percent chance of scattered showers in the morning.

There will also be winds from a range of 10 to 14 miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will be increasing to a high of around 49 degrees during the day and will drop to a near 31 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: It will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures only increasing to a high of around 56 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, as temperatures start to decrease to a near 38 degrees at night.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation during the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 59 degrees in the afternoon and will begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low near 44 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy with there being a 50 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Chances of showers will then decrease to around 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will reach a high of around 60 degrees during the day and drop to a near 43 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 57 degrees during the day. There will also be a 30 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will then begin to drop at night until reaching a low of around 38 degrees.
