Cortland Weather Outlook: Saturday, October 5

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a sunny day with temperatures increasing to a high near 57 degrees in the afternoon.

There will however be southeast winds of around nine miles per hour throughout the day.

Clouds will then begin to show up in the evening with south winds increasing to about 18 miles per hour.

Temperatures will finally drop to around 45 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with there being a slight 30 percent chance of precipitation during the day. Temperatures will increase to a high of around 59 degrees in the afternoon and will begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a low near 44 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy with there being a 50 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the day. Chances of showers will then decrease to around 30 percent in the evening. Temperatures will reach a high of around 60 degrees during the day and drop to a near 43 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high near 57 degrees during the day. There will also be a 30 percent chance of precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will then begin to drop at night until reaching a low of around 38 degrees.

Wednesday: Sunny with temperatures reaching a high near 62 degrees during the day. Temperatures will then decrease at night to around 39 degrees.
