Cortland Weather Outlook: Wednesday, October 16

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a mostly cloudy day with there being an 80 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Showers will most likely begin at around 1 p.m.

Along with these showers, there will also be south winds from a range of 17 to 22 miles per hour.

Temperatures will be increasing to a near 60 degrees during the day and will slowly decrease to a low of around 40 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 30 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high of around 46 degrees during the day and drop to a near 35 degrees at night.

Friday: Partly sunny during the day with temperatures increasing to a high near 49 degrees. It will then start to become partly cloudy at night with temperatures decreasing to around 33 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to around 59 degrees during the day. It will then become cloudy in the evening with temperatures will then drop to a near 42 degrees at night.

Sunday: It will be partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high of around 61 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, with temperatures decreasing to a near 42 degrees at night.
