Cortland Weather Outlook: Thursday, October 17

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are predicting a mostly cloudy day with there being a 90 percent chance of showers throughout the day.

There will also be northwest winds of up to 11 miles per hour along with gusts as high as 22 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Temperatures will reach a high of around 47 degrees during the day and drop to a low near 40 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the rest of this week's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Friday: Partly sunny during the day with temperatures increasing to a high near 49 degrees. It will then start to become partly cloudy at night with temperatures decreasing to around 33 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to around 59 degrees during the day. It will then become cloudy in the evening with temperatures will then drop to a near 42 degrees at night.

Sunday: It will be partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high of around 61 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, with temperatures decreasing to a near 42 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high near 63 degrees during the day and will then drop to around 47 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 60 percent chance of showers during the day. Temperatures will reach a high of around 61 degrees in the afternoon. Chances of precipitation will then drop to about 30 in the evening along with temperatures decreasing to around 41 degrees at night.
