Cortland Weather Outlook: Friday, October 18

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are once again anticipating a mostly cloudy day with there being a 50 percent chance of precipitation early in the day.

Rain showers will most likely stop before 3 p.m.

There will also be winds of up to 15 miles per hour throughout the day.

Temperatures will reach a high of around 44 degrees during the day and will then begin to drop at night to a near 30 degrees.

Here is a look at the rest of this weekend's weather forecast along with the beginning of next week, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Saturday: Mostly sunny with temperatures increasing to around 59 degrees during the day. It will then become cloudy in the evening with temperatures will then drop to a near 42 degrees at night.

Sunday: It will be partly sunny with temperatures increasing to a high of around 61 degrees in the afternoon. It will then begin to become cloudy in the evening, with temperatures decreasing to a near 42 degrees at night.

Monday: Partly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high near 63 degrees during the day and will then drop to around 47 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 60 percent chance of showers during the day. Temperatures will reach a high of around 61 degrees in the afternoon. Chances of precipitation will then drop to about 30 in the evening along with temperatures decreasing to around 41 degrees at night.
