Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, October 20

For today's weather forecast, forecasters are anticipating a partly sunny day with temperatures reaching a high of around 57 degrees in the afternoon.

However, there will be patchy frost early in the morning. Mainly before 9 a.m.

Temperatures will then decrease to a near 38 degrees at night.

Here is a look at the beginning of next week's weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton:

Monday: Partly cloudy with there being a 40 percent chance of showers throughout the day. Temperatures will increase to a high near 63 degrees during the day and will then drop to around 47 degrees at night.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with there being a 60 percent chance of showers during the day. Temperatures will reach a high of around 61 degrees in the afternoon. Chances of precipitation will then drop to about 30 in the evening along with temperatures decreasing to around 41 degrees at night.

Wednesday: It will be partly sunny with temperatures reaching a high of around 53 degrees during the day. There will then be a 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. Temperatures will then begin to decrease in the evening until reaching a near 36 degrees at night.

Thursday: Mostly sunny throughout the day with temperatures increasing  to a high of around 58 degrees. It will then start to become partly cloudy in the evening with temperatures decreasing to a near 37 degrees at night.
